A big part of what keeps us going is hearing directly from the homeowners we’ve worked with, so when a review like this lands, it’s genuinely a good day around the office. Mike Emslie, who’s currently working with our team on his new home build, took the time to share his experience, and we wanted to share it here too.

They are very informative about everything that goes on, and they always make sure that we are in the loop with everything. Adam has gone above and beyond with everything.”
The part about being in the loop is the one that stands out to us, because it’s something we genuinely try to get right on every project. Building a home is a long process with a lot of moving parts, and homeowners who feel kept in the dark about what’s happening on their own site are homeowners who start to lose trust in the whole process. That’s why we put real effort into regular communication, clear updates, and giving our clients access to what’s going on through our project management tools. An informed homeowner is almost always a confident one, and that’s the experience we want for everyone we work with.
Mike continues:
“Adam even helped us with the insurance company claims, as unfortunately, our house burnt down in the West Kelowna fire last year. I strongly recommend ARG to anyone looking to build a house or looking to do renovations, as they will exceed your expectations.”
This part of Mike’s review means a lot to us, because rebuilding after a fire is one of the hardest situations a family can go through. Insurance rebuilds have become a significant part of what we do over the past few years, particularly after the wildfires that have hit the Okanagan, and the work is different from a standard new build. There’s the emotional weight of what the family has already been through, the complexity of working with insurance adjusters, and the pressure to get people back into a home of their own as quickly as possible without cutting corners in the process.
Being able to help Mike and his wife through that, from the insurance side through to the actual build, is exactly the kind of work we feel lucky to do.
